Williger Elevator

Williger Elevator is a specialized orthopedic tool surgeon often use to remove the periosteum from the most delicate bone surfaces. This elevator allows them to expose their structures. Surgical elevators are used to lift, elevate or dissect bones or tissue. The Willigers elevator is used in bone surgery to remove periosteum and soft tissue. Although the elevator can move along the bone, it does not cut into it.

Williger Elevator

Williger is a single-ended elevator that has a long, curved tip. These elevators allow the mucoperiosteum to be reflected and retracted after the incisions have been made in the gingival tissue. For optimal control and grip, the elevator features a flat grooved handle.
