Sims Rectal Speculum

Sims Rectal Speculums are available at Jalal Surgical in “152 mm” Length, High Quality with Stainless Steel material. Sims Rectal Speculum is used for exploration of the anus and the rectum during anuscopy, rectal biopsy, hemorrhoidal banding, sclerotherapy and polypectomy.

The instrument comprises of two hemispherical blades that are hinged to handles with a screw lock mechanism.

A speculum is an instrument designed to allow a doctor to view the inside of a passage or cavity of the body. Rectal speculums are used in the conduction of an anoscopy, a preliminary examination before a proctoscopy or sigmoidoscopy.
