Sawyer Rectal Retractors:

Sawyer Rectal Retractors are available at Jalal Surgical in “279 mm” Length, High Quality with Stainless Steel material. Sawyer Rectal Retractor features a curved blade at the end of the handle to hold back the edges of the anus for better access into lower rectum for surgical procedures. The retractor is available in various blade sizes to accommodate a wide range of cases.

Rectal Retractors

Commercially available rectal retractors can be used in high dose rate intracavitary brachytherapy (HDR ICR) as one of the methods for reducing the rectal dose in radiotherapy for a uterine cervical cancer. However, the extent of the rectal protection achieved using these rectal retractors has not been reported.
