Heaney Needle Holder is a ratcheted, finger ring instrument used for light to medium weight suturing, most commonly in gynecological procedures such as vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy, and dilation and curettage. Heaney needle holder may also be used as a cardiovascular approximation and closure instrument.
