Farabeuf Periosteal Elevator

The Farabeuf periosteal elevators can be used to lift full-thickness flaps of soft tissue. Protect the tips and keep them sharp to avoid shredding the flaps. The Farabeuf Periosteal Raspatory/ Elevator can be used for Scraping bone tissue, cartilage, and periosteum. Farabeuf Periosteal Raspatory has a bulky, spindle-shaped handle and a sharp, flat blade with serrations on one side.

This can be used for scraping hard tissue from bones. This periosteal elevator can lift and remove the periosteum from mastoid surgery. It is held in the dominant hand, with the index finger resting on the ridged.
